The CrossFit group classes are the backbone of what we do at Buckeye Strength & Performance. In a small group setting, we provide your exercise programming (warm-up, workout, and skill work) as well as instruction and supply all the necessary equipment. You will learn the basics of weightlifting, basic gymnastics and bodyweight movements, proper running mechanics and much more. You will always receive instruction from a CrossFit certified trainer and will constantly be observed to ensure that you are performing all movements in a safe and efficient manner.

Buckeye Strength and Performance offers a wide range of personal workout programs to help you achieve your ideal body. Your personal trainer will develop an exercise regimen suited specifically for you, whether your goal is to gain muscle or lose weight.
CrossFit Endurance is an endurance sports training program geared towards improving performance, fitness, and endurance sports potential. It differs from traditional long, slow distance training by eliminating unnecessary volume and instead focusing on proper technique followed by increased intensity. This reversed hierarchy reduces your risk of injury while making you a faster, more efficient runner. The program is running specific, but tightly integrated with CrossFit principles including: Olympic lifts, powerlifting, gymnastic movements, explosive activity, and mobility-based support. This foundation of strength and conditioning helps increase power and speed while also decreasing recovery time, reducing injury, promoting preservation of lean tissue and creating a more sustainable performance curve—all critical elements to a successful endurance training regime.
Olympic Weightlifting with an aim to improve the Snatch and Clean & Jerk. We have found that the most successful CrossFit athletes have a strong foundation in the Olympic Lifts. Olympic Weightlifting classes follow set cycles ranging from Introductory, to more Advanced cycles prepping lifters for competition. Our classes are great whether you are looking to improve your technique, proficiency, and strength, or wanting to pursue Olympic Weightlifting as a sport.
CrossFit Conditioning is a high energy workout designed for fat loss, muscle tone and full body strength and conditioning. This entry level class is more challenging and complete than your average “bootcamp” class, but less complex than a typical CrossFit WOD. The primary focus is improving functional movement, strength and endurance through specialized programming using rowing, kettlebells, dumbbells, medicine balls, sleds, tires, bodyweight movements, etc.
SWOLE is designed to increase upper body hypertophy while maintaining minimal body fat. Classes are coached by veteran athletes using a program design that trains muscle groups equally and promotes strength gains outside of normal CrossFit classes. Most importantly participants have fun.
The 4-week program is jam-packed full of knowledge and FUN! You’ll learn basic skills, movement concepts, exercises, conditioning, and mobility. If that seems overwhelming, don’t worry – it’s not! Our program can be scaled for anyone and everyone, regardless of experience or athletic ability. This Program runs every January and September!
